WHY WE’RE PARTNERING WITH POW WOW PITCH

In 2021, we had the pleasure of mentoring eight amazing PWP semi-finalists. We felt aligned with the Pow Wow Pitch mission to help others succeed. We hope that by deepening our commitment to the Pow Wow Pitch Program, we can be of service to entrepreneurs who can benefit from our unique expertise and support Pow Wow’s efforts to provide platforms, programs, and resources to assist Indigenous entrepreneurs in growing thriving and sustainable businesses.

HOW WE’RE PARTNERING

To support Pow Wow Pitch, our team will volunteer as mentors offering 1:1 virtual advisory support to the finalists during the Bootcamp program. In addition, we will collaborate with Pow Wow Pitch on a Learning Series Webinar including the development of tools and templates to help Indigenous entrepreneurs plan and grow their businesses. Finally, we will support Pow Wow Pitch when market research is needed to measure the impact on Indigenous entrepreneurs who participated in the program.

OUR IMPERFECT PLAN

We recognize that we are responsible for the process of Truth & Reconciliation. We developed our Imperfect Plan to help us identify what we can do as individuals and as a company to learn, understand and act in support of Indigenous communities. We believe allyship begins with education which is why we’re learning from Indigenous Community leaders and developing a program that supports meaningful change and long-term impact, including partnering with Pow Wow Pitch to elevate the next generation of Indigenous entrepreneurs.
