Join us live at the Mana Up Showcase in Honolulu, Hawai'i, USA on November 5th, and share your 1-minute business pitch to win funds and the support of the entire Pow Wow Pitch community!

Who qualifies?

Any Indigenous person with a business idea or a business of any type and in any industry can pitch for a chance to win cash prizes and gain a community of support.

All contestants get: 

  • Immediate entrance into the 2025 Turtle Island Pow Wow Pitch competition.
  • Free access to the Indigenous Startup Program.
  • The chance to be featured in the Pow Wow Pitch Box.

Pow Wow Pitch Schedule

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 8

2:00 PM - Registration - Pre-register below to confirm your spot. On the day of the Mana Up Showcase, please meet at registration to confirm your spot to pitch.

3:10 - 4:10 PM - Round 1 - Line-up and present your 1-minute pitch to the judges.

4:45 PM - Top 6 Announcement - The Top 6 will be announced at the main stage.

5:00 - 6:00 PM - Mentorship - The Top 6 will be paired with mentors where they will recieve feedback and guidance before thier final pitch.

6:15 PM - 6:45 PM - Top 6 Pitch - Present your final 1-minute pitch to the judges followed by a 2-minute Q & A.

7:50 PM - Winner's Announcements - Pow Wow Pitch announces the Mana Up Winners and Fan Favourite!

How to Participate:

STEP 1 - Complete the pre-registration form.
STEP 2 - Attend the event for registration at 2:00 pm.
STEP 3 - Meet at the Main Stage at 3:00 pm to line up.
STEP 4 - Present your 1-Minute Pitch.

When you pre-register, we will send you all of the details. 

What to Include in Your 1-Minute Pitch:

  • Introduce yourself and where you are from.
  • Tell us the name of your business and what you want to sell or already sell.
  • Tell us how you would use $25,000 to take your idea or business to the next level.
  • BONUS: Tell us why you want to do this? Who is part of your team? Your traction to date? Your vision for the future?

How your Pitch is scored:

/5 PRESENTATION - Has the entrepreneur communicated their product/service, value proposition and a pathway to sustainability and success?
/5 EXECUTION - Has the entrepreneur convinced the judges that they will follow through with their business goals?
/5 MOTIVATION - Has they entrepreneur clearly communited how they will use the money to start or take that next step?
/5 COMMUNITY IMPACT - Has the entrpereneur outlined how their initiative will create a positive impact on their community?
