Pow Wow Pitch partners with the National Arts Centre to celebrate Indigenous entrepreneurship

August 20, 2026

Pow Wow Pitch is proud to welcome the National Arts Centre (NAC) as a partner in advancing Indigenous entrepreneurship in the National Capital Region, as part of a broader commitment to celebrating and supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs across Turtle Island.

Through this partnership, the National Arts Centre will host the Mentor Networking Event and Indigenous Entrepreneur Awards Digital Gala Watch Party, bringing together Indigenous entrepreneurs, mentors, partners, and supporters to celebrate Indigenous entrepreneurship and create meaningful opportunities for connection.

The Mentor Networking Event brings Indigenous entrepreneurs together with experienced mentors and business leaders, followed by the Indigenous Entrepreneur Awards Digital Gala, where outstanding Indigenous entrepreneurs are recognized for their excellence.

“The National Arts Centre is proud to partner with Pow Wow Pitch in celebrating Indigenous entrepreneurs and their remarkable achievements,” said Mairi Brascoupé, Cultural Advocate of the National Arts Centre. “We are honoured to help create opportunities for entrepreneurs, mentors, and supporters to come together, celebrate Indigenous excellence, and strengthen the relationships that help businesses and communities flourish.”

“We’re grateful to the National Arts Centre for partnering with us to create meaningful experiences for Indigenous entrepreneurs,” said Naomi Sarazin, Executive Director of Pow Wow Pitch. “By hosting the Mentor Networking Event and Indigenous Entrepreneur Awards Digital Gala, the National Arts Centre is helping create opportunities for Indigenous entrepreneurs to connect, celebrate, and build relationships that extend well beyond the event.”

Together, Pow Wow Pitch and the National Arts Centre are helping create spaces where Indigenous entrepreneurs can celebrate their achievements, strengthen their networks, and build meaningful connections that support their entrepreneurial journeys.
