Indigenous Entrepreneurship
The Indigenous Entrepreneur Awards, hosted by Pow Wow Pitch, recognize and celebrate excellence and outstanding achievement in Indigenous entrepreneurship.
2026 Awards Application and Nomination Form
Applying will take approximately 30 minutes. Nominating an entrepreneur will take approximately 10 minutes.

Indigenous entrepreneurs and Indigenous-owned businesses across Canada can apply or nominate others for their entrepreneurial perseverance, growth, impact and example as true Indigenous icons of our generation.
Applicants and nominees must reside in Canada and be First Nations, Inuit, Métis or Native American. They may be any type of entrepreneur running any kind of business in any industry, so long as they have been operating for a minimum of three years.
Applications and nominations will open April 7, 2026 with a deadline of June 8, 2026. Award recipients will be announced and celebrated during a digital gala on November 13, 2026.
In addition, award recipients will receive a unique hand-crafted adornment and a plaque encased with a limited edition signed print of the 2026 signature art piece by Carrie Hill as a framed, limited-edition print of the 2026 official artwork, Corn Husk Dolls by Alanah Jewel, complete with an engraved plaque.

Hosted by Pow Wow Pitch Founder Sunshine Tenasco and featuring a special performance to honour all nominees and applicants, the Digital Gala features eight heartfelt presentations of the 2026 Indigenous Entrepreneur Awards.
