Pow Wow Pitch Box to showcase 10 physical products and 3 digital experiences from Indigenous entrepreneurs from across Turtle Island

Pow Wow Pitch, an Indigenous-led non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs, is excited to unveil the 2025 Pow Wow Pitch Box in partnership with RBC and Mastercard. Valued at $200, this curated collection features thirteen selected products and digital experiences created by Indigenous entrepreneurs.

The Pow Wow Pitch Box Program offers emerging Indigenous-owned businesses a platform to gain exposure, access mentorship, funding, and vital support to elevate their ventures. By sourcing products directly from these entrepreneurs, Pow Wow Pitch helps them connect with hundreds of new customers.

This year’s box includes a diverse selection spanning stationery, accessories, apparel, home goods, and food products, along with innovative digital experiences. The collection is further enriched by artwork from Indigenous artist Angie Gillette’s piece Sisterhood, and a poem by Tenille K. Campbel, titled ‘What If,’ which speaks to possibility and community.

‘Sisterhood’ Mug - Limited Edition

White Corn Wear is a female-owned apparel and accessories brand founded by Angela Gillette from the Great MHA Tribes of North Dakota and the first-place winner of the 2023 Gathering of Nations Pow Wow Pitch. Her designs are inspired by photos of her kids, especially her daughter, and the many things that spark her creativity. Artisanal Fusion Black Tea

Kebaonish is a women-led coffee and tea company co-founded by Dr. Shyra Barberstock from Kebaowek First Nation, and 2024 Pow Wow Pitch Winner. Rooted in the Anishinaabe concept Mino-Bimaadiziwin - the good life - Kebaonish honours traditional knowledge, wisdom, and worldviews to support generations of well-being. Their organic Bravery (Aakdehewin) Tea is a smooth, balanced blend with notes of caramel and toast. Guided by the Seven Grandfather Teaching of bravery, it reflects the courage to face challenges with strength and authenticity.

MINI TIPI is a Canadian company co-founded by Trisha Pitura, a member of Nipissing First Nation, and Mélanie Bernard, of settler descent from Quebec City. Based in Gatineau, QC, MINI TIPI is both a Pow Wow Pitch alumna and partner. The Essential Bag is a compact zippered pouch designed to keep you organized while adding a stylish touch perfect for carrying your everyday essentials wherever you go.

‘Echoes of the Land’ Greeting Card - Limited Edition

Roots & Patterns is an Indigenous-owned brand founded by Molly Huntington, a self-taught youth artist and proud member of the Mohawks of Kahnawake, where her business is also based. The limited edition greeting card is first hand-drawn and then digitally refined to preserve the spirit of the artwork while offering crisp, high-quality details. The original print is perfect for framing and display. ‘Medicine Wheel’ Socks

Shawish Market, an Indigenous-owned business founded by Amanda Bernard, a proud member of the Madawaska Maliseet First Nation, and based in Toronto, ON. Shawish Market was created to empower Indigenous entrepreneurs and artists, and was recognized as a 2024 Pow Wow Pitch Runner-Up in the Consumer Products & Retail category. Tiny Clay Pins, Big Meanings, founded and owned by Christine Brouzes, a proud member of the Red River Métis and based in Winnipeg, MB that creates small clay pins dedicated to visible recognition and awareness of various Indigenous movements. Christine was also recognized as the 2024 Pow Wow Pitch Runner-Up in the Creative Category. The ‘Tiny Red Dress Blue Sky’ lapel pin can be worn on a cap, bag or jacket as a symbol of awareness and remembrance for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people.

‘Modernizing Indigenous Spaces’ Digital Gallery

Native Clarity, founded by Clarissa Friday, a proud mother of six and grandmother to one, whose family remains the center of her life and inspiration. Clarissa is a member of the Forest County Potawatomi Community and is based in West Bend, WI, USA. In response to a “Call for Artists” from the Native American Center at UW–Stevens Point, Clarissa created a visual exhibit for Native American Heritage Month, titled ‘Modernizing Indigenous Spaces.’ The work highlights Indigenous identity in everyday life, featuring individuals in regalia or ribbon shirts and dresses in contemporary workplaces, celebrating the intersection of tradition and modernity.

‘Amplify Indigenous Voices’ Digital Documentary

Bee Productions Inc., an Indigenous-owned media company specializing in culturally grounded storytelling founded by Bee Bird, a proud member of  Montreal Lake Cree Nation, based in Saskatchewan.  Bee Productions Inc. uplifts Indigenous voices through film and media that foster connection, collaboration, and representation. In 2024, Bee Bird was selected as the City of Regina’s Indigenous Artist in Residence, creating poetry videos exploring Urban Indigeneity and incorporating Indigenous language, memory, and connection to land. 

Relaxing Indigenous Flute & Water Meditation

Dallas Arcand, acclaimed Indigenous entertainer, four-time World Champion Hoop Dancer, award-winning music producer, and artist, brings his talents to this immersive digital experience.  A proud member of Alexander First Nation and based in Edmonton, AB, Dallas pairs three hours of stunning natural scenery with his soothing Indigenous-style flute fusion music. Featuring the rich tones of the traditional wooden flute, this calming soundtrack is perfect for  relaxation, meditation, yoga, study, or creating a peaceful ambience.
